From Start to Finish
Blazeinteractive's business process derives from our accumulated experience in building high-profile, dynamic and interactive websites to world-leading companies. A typical BI project will be divided into three main phases:
Specification ,Implementation, Evaluation
We Do it together
We always aim to work very closely with our clients. A good customer relationship is considered a key element in our corporate strategy.
It is our opinion that a close cooperation and a full understanding of both companies' values and culture are vital elements in the process of creating successful solutions. It is therefore essential that the client is deeply involved in each phase of a project.
SPECIFICATION
The Whys and Hows
The specification phase is key to each BI project. After this phase we are absolutely clear on what the requirements are and why those requirements exist. Without an excellent understanding of the “why”, the requirements will never be anything but requirements and BI as a company will never be able to understand our client's business.
We want to get to know each our clients, to understand their goals and strategies, to be aware of their values and get a sense of their company culture and brand.
Identifying Issues
As soon as the requirements are set, we go deeper into specifications. During the specification phase, BI, together with the client, creates a functional design.
During the functional design creation, several of BI's competence areas are involved. In a chain of development the design often sets demands on how the data is delivered, and the technical architecture is often affected by how the interaction will work.
IMPLEMENTATION
Creating and producing
The next phase is the implementation. The implementation process typically starts with a design phase. With the functional design as a base we create a graphical and a technical design. These designs are then the starting point from which the entire project is built. Both designs are signed off by the client.
When the designs are set, we go into production. The production is normally a very hectic period where all the design, interactive parts and application elements come together and the production starts to come alive.
Quality over Quantity
Testing and quality assurance is an iterative process that is continuously managed throughout an BI project. We do however always end the implementation phase with a tweak period, as it is important to do the very last tests when everything is uploaded to its correct environment.
The minor tweaks, that make your production perfect, are often things you don't notice until the production is completed. This normally involves issues such as “feel” and user experience. BI always put a lot of efforts into this part of each delivery and are not afraid to do the necessary changes. It is all about the quality and the minor tweaks are those that make a difference.
EVALUATION
Building Trust
BI always perform an evaluation after each project. We want to make sure that we are constantly improving and that the relationship with our client remains strong. The evaluation is often a very open-hearted discussion and a sum-up of the positives and the negatives, with a focus on how we can improve for our next project together.
Improving and Moving
Constantly questioning and revising our methods of work keeps us on our toes. We must remain flexible to be sure that we can incorporate each unique client within our model. We feel this awareness is key to maintaining our market position and our Quality over Quantity mentality, which is not just philosophy, it is our brand.
